Founder and President, Meg Lee, grew up from humble beginnings. Her parents were food vendors in a wet market.

Under Meg Lee's leadership, the family business expanded to importation of frozen food products.

Realizing the opportunity to do business more efficiently and ultimately contribute to food security in the country, Meg Lee incorporated the E&L (Espiritu & Lee) Faster Food Imports Inc.                                                                                                                                          

By cultivating strong relationships with its stakeholders and clients, E&L emerged victorious amidst the challenges faced by the industry. As the company continues to improve business operations, the sales grew exponentially.

E&L celebrated its first decade in the meat industry and hitting its milestone of employing a total of 100 people to operate the food business. 

E&L Food rebranded its logo and added the Doing Good With Food trademark tagline. Amid the pandemic, the company grew to over 200 employees in just one year. E&L Food also started launching food shops, opening in Rizal and Laguna.
